My name is Kristen Gerdes. I have been married to my husband, Lucas Gerdes for almost 4 years. We have a baby girl, Bailey and a fur baby named Hattie, she is a German Shepherd. I went to school from Pre-K-12th grade in Edmond Public Schools, then went to OSU for my bachelors in Early Childhood Education. GO POKES! This is my sixth year teaching, prior to this year I taught first grade for two years and kindergarten for three years. This will be my first year at Russell Dougherty. I am excited to join the RD family! 

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, reading, watching movies and shopping!
